Friday Night Street Party!

The Gros Islet Friday night street party is a popular and enjoyable year-round event in St. Lucia that offers local food, drinks, music, and all-night dancing in the street. Travellers look forward to and often return to this festive event, which is held in the centre of Gros Islet town and is only a short walk away from Justinn’s Apartments.

The apartment was relatively well equipped and we’ll situated for the Friday night street party and pigeon island. We enjoyed our stay was friendly giving us tips on good places to eat.

Splash Island Water Park

Splash Island Water Park is the first open-water sports park in the Caribbean, situated on the popular Reduit Beach. It is located just a five-minute drive away from Justinn’s Apartments. The park offers obstacle-course style features such as a trampoline, climbing wall, monkey bars, swing, slide, hurdles, double rocker, flip, and water volleyball, making it a fun attraction for kids, families, and weekend warriors alike.

Justin was a great host and was helpful at all times. The place was fantastic, close to a grocery store, restaurants and even close to the Ocean. It was breezy, the AC was powerful and the hot water was great. Good large cups for water and a spacious refrigerator. The neighbors were friendly. I would highly recommend Justin’s place and will stay there again.

Pigeon Island National Park

Pigeon Island is a historical landmark in the northwest corner of St. Lucia, which offers nature, beach, and hiking activities just a few minutes away from Justinn’s Apartment. The 44-acre mountainous green area has preserved ruins of British military forts and garrisons used to monitor French activity after the British chased out the Caribs.

Visitors can walk among the ruins and hike up to the cannons of Fort Rodney for a breathtaking panoramic view of St. Lucia’s coastline and sea, then hike down to the beach for a swim and visit the on-water restaurant, Jambe de Bois, to appreciate the historical significance of the island.

Lots of Beautiful Beaches

Reduit Beach is widely considered to be the best stretch of golden sand in St. Lucia, located on the northwest coastline.

While it’s a popular destination that draws crowds of vacationers, there are many accommodations to choose from in nearby Rodney Bay Village and Gros Islet, ranging from large all-inclusive resorts to small boutique hotels.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of dining options, shops, entertainment, and even a casino with over 250 slot machines, known as the Treasure Bay Casino.

We loved our stay there ! The apartment is well located : marina, beach, bars, restaurants and street parties are walking distance ! It is equipped with everything you need, and of course it is very clean. We really felt like home.

The entrance to the yard is narrow, so worth being careful with your turn. All amenities are present, wi fi… read more works fine, the gas stove works perfect. Very well ventilated property, we found no need to turn air con on.

Shower and overall taps don’t have much water pressure so shower experience was not perfect but one can easily get used to it. 

Location wise it is next to the Friday party street but I couldn’t find anything to do there. For the vibe one has to go to Reduit beach side as the local beach is far from perfect. Good restaurants are in the big hotels, independent places lack quality.
